Middle-class housewife Ila makes another attempt at “spicing up” her marriage, this time through the magic of cooking. She has prepared a new dish which she desperately hopes will arouse some interest in her neglectful husband.

She has it delivered to his office, but a mix-up in the delivery service makes the lunchbox land at the desk of another office employee, Saajan, a lonely man on the verge of retirement. Unaware of the mistake, and curious about the lack of response from her husband, Ila folds a little note into the next day’s lunchbox in the hope of getting to the bottom of this mystery.
